Speaker of the House of the People Inspects Renovation and Modernisation Works at Villa Hargeisa

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, on Sunday inspected ongoing renovation and modernisation works at Villa Hargeisa, which houses parliamentary leadership and committee offices.

The inspection focused on the progress and quality of reconstruction and maintenance works being carried out as part of efforts to modernise the infrastructure and working facilities of the House of the People.

Speaker Abdulkadir directed those responsible to ensure the works are completed efficiently and to the required standards, stressing the importance of providing modern and suitable facilities that support Parliament in carrying out its constitutional responsibilities.

The project forms part of broader efforts to improve parliamentary infrastructure and create a modern working environment for the country’s legislative institution.
