President Hassan Sheikh Arrives in Ethiopia for Official Working Visit

Addis Ababa, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and the delegation accompanying him arrived today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on an official working visit, where they received a warm welcome.

The visit is aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations and strategic cooperation between Somalia and Ethiopia, with discussions expected to focus on regional security, stability, and advancing the shared interests of the two neighboring countries.

During his stay in Addis Ababa, President Hassan Sheikh is scheduled to hold talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of security, economic development, and regional affairs in the Horn of Africa.
