Baidoa Set to Host Country Humanitarian Forum 2026

Baidoa, (SONNA) — The Commissioner of Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) Mr. Mohamud Moallim and a delegation that includes FMS Ministers of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management today arrived in 𝑩𝒂𝒊𝒅𝒐𝒂 ahead of the 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 (𝐂𝐇𝐅2026).

The delegation was received by South West State Minister of Humanitarian Affairs H.E Abdinasir Abdi Rush and other regional officials. He noted that the forum will play an important role in strengthening coordination and collaboration on humanitarian action across Somalia.

Commissioner Mohamud thanked the South West State administration for the warm reception, emphasizing that CHF 2026 is a key platform for advancing disaster preparedness and improving collective humanitarian response efforts in Somalia.
