SoDMA Hands Over Essential Medicines to Janale District Hospital

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has handed over a shipment of essential medicines to Janale District Hospital in Lower Shabelle Region as part of a health assistance project supporting communities at risk of El Niño-related flooding.

The initiative aims to strengthen preparedness, prevention and response to potential flood impacts, beginning in Janale District.

The medicines were handed over by SoDMA Health Director Dr. Abdullahi Muse Ahmed to help strengthen local health services and support communities facing potential flood-related impacts.
